BEYOND FALLEN Confirmed For ROB ORIANI BENEFIT MEMORIAL SHOW Pennsylvania's BEYOND FALLEN has been confirmed for the Rob Oriani Benefit Memorial Show (for late VYNDYKATOR guitarist Robert "Rob" Oriani) on Saturday, March 24 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey. # # # ROSS THE BOSS CONFIRMED!! Legendary Guitarist, ROSS THE BOSS will headline the ROB ORIANI Benefit Memorial show on Saturday March 24th at DINGBATZ in Clifton, New Jersey. ROSS will perform a set of MANOWAR classics from selections of the first six albums! Joining RTB will be Vocalist Prometheus (GODS OF FIRE), Bassist Mike LePond (SYMPHONY X) and Drummer Mike Sabatini (ATTACKER). Ross is currently featured on MANOWAR's newest DVD, The Day The Earth Shook - The Absolute Power". ATTACKER vocalist, Bob Mitchell commented on having Ross on the show, "Rob often said to me that the three reasons he played guitar were ROSS, KK (Downing) and Glenn (Tipton). I'm truly honored to have him as part of this great show that is really coming together. So many bands and the fans now want to be a part of this and I feel that TMA is really sending a profound message. This is absolutely going to be a great night and a wonderful memory for not only the fans of Heavy Metal but for Rob's family whom I love dearly. I owe a great deal of gratitude to Joanne over at DINGBATZ for allowing such an event to take place. When I went to her with this show, she didn't hesitate for a moment and said 'yes' right away. She is a True sister of Metal and a wonderful friend". Two more bands will be confirmed in the next few days to complete the line up. So as of now, the show will feature these great bands: ROSS THE BOSS (An Evening of Early MANOWAR) Set times and admission price will be finalized in the next several days after the final two bands are set in place. Check it out! # # # TRUE METAL AMERICA Presents The ROB ORIANI Benefit Memorial Show ATTACKER Vocalist Bob Mitchell has just confirmed New York Heavy Metal band DEVILS ISLAND and non-other than SEVEN WITCHES for the "Rob Oriani Benefit Memorial" show that will take place on Saturday March 24th at DINGBATZ in Clifton, New Jersey. Guitarist Jack Frost has issued the following statement, "Seven Witches are honored to take part in this amazing Memorial show that's being put together for Rob. Speaking personally for myself, Rob and I were close friends for more than 20 years. We have shared many, wonderful Metal moments together . He was a true brother and will always be family to me. I certainly do miss him as if he were one my own. I can almost see his fist raised up from heaven, looking down here and feeling our love. I hope that all of you will come out to remember this great man and musician. I want to thank Bob for putting this together, he's a credit to the Metal world". Two more bands will be confirmed, one of which will be a major coup for the organizers of the TRUE METAL AMERICA Concert Series who are presenting the event to which Mitchell also recently stated, "This will be a most befiting announcement that I will be thrilled to make once all is in place. It will be big! The only thing that I can further elaborate upon is the fact that one of the acts is, truly, a bonefide legend. March 24th will be a night to remember and it's all for a great cause. The event will be presented by the TRUE METAL AMERICA Concert Series with 100% of all proceeds going to the family the late guitarist. "ORIANI, Robert J., 40, of West Milford, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ. Robert was born in Jersey City, and lived the last 8 years in West Milford, NJ. Robert was a mail carrier for 15 years with the U.S. Postal Service in North Bergen, New Jersey. Beloved son of Angelina (nee Studer) & the late Robert Oriani, dear brother of Joseph Oriani, devoted husband of Mercy Cunningham, loving father of Mercedes Debrecki, Melissa Munker & Meagan Cunningham, loving grandfather of Debriella & Leah Debrecki". To Metal fans around the world, Rob will forever be known as the guitarist and co-founding member of the Heavy Metal band VYNDYKATOR. The band released the now classic "Heaven Sent From Hell" in 2002 to which Rob was a main contributor of. The band also featured ATTACKER vocalist Bob Mitchell and ALCHEMY X bassist Steve Ratchen.
