Hello Johnny! Nice to meet you. If you could, please tell us a little bit about the style of porn movies you make. How would you describe it to a porn viewer who isn't familiar with your work?
Like sex on bad acid with the television on at full volume and a KISS record on in the background... the say I've invented punk porn...
How and when did you get into the porn business?
When my dick got hard when I was a teenager, I majored in photography in high school, I studied film in college, and now I fuck naked girls on celluloid for a living... I will live on just like Savanna.
How has your life changed since you have become a porn star?
I met Al Miller and Odin Lazlo who produce my movies. They bought me a car, rented me a house, gave me food to eat, let me fuck a million girls, and gave me some tapes to record on.
We've seen two of your movies, Butts Up and Splatter Puss. What are your feelings about each?
Rent Anal Graveyard, award nominated sex documentary of gravestones and rectal addiction. Al Miller made me make Butts Up, Splatter Puss was Odin's idea.
What is your favorite film you have done? And, if it is a different answer... during which film did you most enjoy the sex?
Anal Graveyard was my favorite film, now it's Action Man... my life is a blur, I can't remeber shit, let alone who I fuck.
Do you take an active part in the preparation for your movies? Do you work first hand with the casting of the actresses, writing of the scripts, or creating of the ideas for each movie?
I get drunk alot. I am a Nyquil addict. I make everyone who works with me watch day time TV soaps. I do not advocate drugs or alcohol or cursing on my set. I am a nice guy.
What is the usually process, start to finish, that you perform to get ready for each movie?
Get drunk, get high, get horny, listen to my favorite band Sweetwater (now the Park Boys), argue with my manger/producers, and take the phone off the hook.
Have you ever had a problem getting aroused and staying aroused for a scene?
Yes.
Have you ever cum too quickly, or missed your cue for the "money shot"?
Yes.
A lot of actors in the porn business often do gay or bisexual films in order to get started in the business. Did you ever do any gay or bisexual work? Were you ever approached about doing any work like that?
No.
Who has been your favorite actress to work with?
The one in the mental institution and the one in jail for accomplice to murder, both shall remain nameless for the viewers' protection.
Has there ever been an actress that you either didn't like or were not into that you had to do a scene with?
No.
Please tell us about your band, Goldo. What type of music is it, and what does "Goldo" mean? Who are the other musicians in the band, and how did the band get together?
I'm not in the band anymore... I was kicked out for being a superstar.. What would you do with the next big egotistical asshole sex symbol... although the Goldo record is pretty cool, you should buy it, it is on Epic records, I am featured on 7 songs, you'll see why I was thrown out. I am currently working on my first solo record, Johnny Toxic, and will be appearing on my nationwide toystore and porno book convention concert tour.
Has your music been featured in any of your movies yet? Will it ever be?
Rent all the Johnny Toxic movies... Kill All Robots.
Do you consider your music to be separate from your porn career, or are they related? What came first, the band or porn?
Music came first when I bought my first record when I was 8, it was KISS Destroyer. Sex came from the chic 70s hip to be cool Playboy magazines left on the coffee-table. Then came my dick, then came Mickey Blank.
I hear that you are working on a video for the song "Lovely Ladies." Tell us about the song and the concept for the video. Is there any word from MTV on whether they will play it?
It should be on MTV between now and May. It is a corporate fast-food write it on your lunchbox story of love between my relationship and that of my ex-partner/co-creator and our bittersweet tale of love, romance, marriage and divorce.
Have you been touring with Goldo? Can we expect an album release soon?
Album will be released May 5th, Goldo wont let me on stage. Look for the Johnny Toxic band.
What has the reaction to your music basically been? Are you hopeful about possibly breaking into the mainstream?
I'm afraid of mainstream, I'm afraid of my nightmares for 5,5,2000. I have more to educate the mass then they know. Sex drugs and rock-n-roll.
Will you keep up your porn career if you music takes off? Do you think your musical acceptance may suffer because of your work in the porn industry?
In the words of David Lee Roth..."Eat 'em and smile". "Record companies are like TV sit-coms", Danny Wiezmann.
How about your personal life? Do you have a steady relationship? Do you think it is possible to have a relationship with someone while in the porn industry?
Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, I'm going to go eat some worms. Johnny Toxic as your friend or lover is like the black plague. I'm a nice guy.
What are three albums that you are listening to at the moment?
I'm listening to a lot of Sweetwater, who, again, changed their name to the Park Boys, the Twin Peaks soundtrack, and the new Garbage single because everytime I turn on the radio it's on and my buddy Daniel is in the band.
Are you a fan and viewer of pornography in your personal life? If you what has some of your favorite movies, and actresses been?
Nightdreams, Cafe Flesh, ButtMan and real bad, low quality, crappy, ugly porno-smut tapes, usually from Mickey Blank.
Candy Apples award winning role in the Jim Powers classic, Texas Dildo Masquarade, which by the way, came out in 1997, so I must have been psychic, and I am too.
Did any one actor inspire you to break into the business?
Ron Jeremy.
Any new films in the works?
Yeah, I make porn for a living, I've got titles coming out of my ass. Every friend I know gives me at least three titles a day so I'm booked for the next five years. Actually, look for Ladies Room, Ass Cakes, Action Man Parts 1 & 2, plus a title having to do with Rick-n-roll sluts , bitches, or something like that.
