Ginger Lynn really is the best... and that guy looks like a shemale Burt Reynolds.
Audio/Video: Up, Up & Away - No complaints, except for the lack of medium shots, which became apparent when trying to capture screenshots. It seems they were either extreme
closeups or facial expressions, rarely full body. Heart Throbs - The sound kinda sucked in places, and there were lots of shadows, though this wasn't
necessarily a bad thing. Since they spent a good amount of time on the beach, there was also quite a bit of wind noise.
Extras: Double feature Scene selection
Fur Factor: Up, Up & Away - Tolerable Heart Throbs - Chewbacca
See? I told you... just look at her!!
The Movies: These will appeal only to collectors of the 'classics' and that's assuming a lot. The only dates I could find were from screen 2257 - sometime before July 2, 1995.
The women have no tattoos and very few implants, which can be useful for dating purposes. In the case of Heart Throbs, I suppose someone tracking Ron Jeremy's
weight (you know who you are) might be able to nail it down with a degree of accuracy, but I don't have a clue. Suffice to say that it's from the height of the Hairy Pussy
era. Up, Up & Away seems to date somewhat later. I like the idea of double features, though it makes it somewhat more difficult to review, but only if both worth watching.
Up, Up & Away: This is kind of a fun one that features pilots, airline stewardesses, and sex. Instead of showing inflight movies they entertain the passengers with lingerie shows.
Just before the infamous “Oh, I forgot to douche” disaster...
There were several varied sexual situations, from a little bondage to a double dildoing. I do enjoy some classics because of their production values and their at times
surprisingly different content, but the sex scenes are usually too short and badly captured - not to mention that constant problem with the lack of attractive males,
and an abundance of pubic hair. Jamie Gillis (ewww!!) and Ginger Lynn were the only ones I recognized, though all the women were attractive.
Heart Throbs:
I'm not sure who would enjoy this one, other than die-hard fans of Ron Jeremy who collect every movie he's appeared in, but who has that much money?
Harry Reems... reaming.
He is actually tolerable here, and he used to be a half-way decent actor, which is weird. I can't recall anyone, porn or mainstream, becoming progressively worse over the
years. I know it doesn't make sense, but I swear it's true. Ron was also less hairy than some of the women he bones, but aside from that, it suffered from too many
shadows, bad sound, and less than arousing sex.
Ron. As American as Apple Pie with a big fucking cock stuffed in it.
Shot in Hawaii, at least the scenery was attractive. They play on the beach a lot, and at one point had Ron buried up to his neck in the sand, though he did manage to dig his way out.
The plot involves three guys who work for a cosmetics company who travel to Hawaii to test out their new creation, a lipstick that turns women into sex maniacs. It
sounds like a precurser to date rape drugs, but it's innocent enough fun. It just isn't arousing.
