A: Hello Jill!

J: Hello!

A: Ready to go?

J: Yes.

A: Did you, like many ladies in porn, start out dancing?

J: Yes, at The Deja Vu in Ontario, California.

A: How did you make the transition over to porn?

J: I did private shows with Tiffany Million in San Fran before she got in the biz. I didn't talk to her for about a year, then she called me and and said she was a porn star and wanted me to go to CES in 1994 I think.

A: Had you ever given any thought to going into porn before she brought the idea up to you?

J: No.

A: Did CES "convert" you, so to speak? What made you actually decide to give it a shot?

J: I didn't get in right away. I got married to porn star Cal Jammer, then he asked me not get in, so I waited till after we split up. He originally was going to help me, but didn't.

A: Was it at all difficult at first, or do you consider yourself to be a "natural?"

J: I did my first with him. The hard part was blow jobs. I was insecure about head.

A: Insecure about your ability?

J: I didn't like the way I looked with a dick in my mouth and didn't know how to do it. Now I'm a master at blow jobs!

A: So are the two of you "dating," so to speak?

J: We date only each other and any guys we want.

A: Ever share men, off camera?

J: That's a secret.

A: Will Deven do any scenes with men on camera?

J: She might in the future.

A: A number of fans (including myself) have complained about the performance of Bonita's partner in Perfect Pink. Although she is BEAUTIFUL and fucks like a minx, he was, well, just plain lame! What was the deal with that scene?

J: Well, you have to give him a little credit... it was his first time ever on camera and it really isn't as easy as it looks.

A: He is her boyfriend, I take it?

J: Yes, he is.

A: I guess a second take of the scene wasn't feasible?

J: Yes I did. He was very nervous, so we just went with what we had.

A: What do you have planned for the next installment of the Perfect Pink series?

J: Well, just a few weeks ago, we took Julian, Temptress, Rene LaRue, Taylor Moore, Love Lee, Randy Spears, Chris Cannon camping up in Northern California. We shot like, 7 scenes and just had an insane time. Suffice it to say, this is going to make Shane's World look like girl scout summer camp. It will be called Pink Retreat.

A: Although you do a great anal scene in Perfect Pink, you haven't done much anal in previous films. Is it something you don't particularly enjoy?

J: No, I love it! I just think that it still should be treated as something like "ooh, he's doing her up the ass! That's so cool!" If there's an anal in every movie or scene, then it's no longer taboo, or something special.

A: How long has Jill Entertainment been active for? What made you decide to start your own company?

J: I started the company back in October of 1998 and we released our first movie in February. We are just chugging along and putting out some fun movies which have been really well receieved. Critics be damned, our sales tell the real truth. I started Jill Entertainment because basically we're living in a man's world. Men are constantly telling me what to do (especially directors). Some of these guys just picked up a camera yesterday and I know way more about directing than they do, just from being on sets EVERYDAY for 5 years. I got the validation I needed when some of the finest cameramen in the biz have told me I'm very capable as a director.

A: How do you feel about being the #2 porn star in the world, according to Genesis Magazine?

J: Extremely honored. Of course it would be nice to be #1 but that's my girl Jenna. I'm Club's "Millenium Girl" whatever that means. I'm just grateful that my fans love me so much.

A: I understand you watch your own movies to critique your performance. Do you watch any porn purely from the basis of a "fan?"

J: Absolutely. I watch movies and the only things I really pay attention to are, "man is she hot" and "man can he fuck".

A: Was your first lesbian experience on or off screen?

J: Off. I love women. I'm pretty sure I felt closer to girls then boys when I was younger. Women are very non-threatening. And so warm. And beautiful.

A: In your experience, are women better at cunnilingus than men?

As if I needed another reason to want to spend all day in a hot tub!

J: Depends on who does it. Women who are dykes can eat pussy like nobody's business. Women who are gay-for-pay just lick your pussy like it's a jalapeno flavored toostie pop. Men who know what they're doing are the bomb. Men who don't can go away....

A: What is more wild, your on or off-camera sex life?

J: Well, now they're basically the same! My exclusive on-camera partner is my fiance Julian. We can be just as wild at home as we are on camera but at home, the intimacy is just between us.

A: What is your opinion of Luke Ford?

J: I used to hate him. Printing porn stars' real names just isn't cool. Then my salesperson/pr girl tried to make us be friends. She thought that just because we were both Dallas Cowboy fans, that should be enough to mend fences. He really went out of his way to be gracious to me. We spoke a few times and he was a gentleman and apologized for things he had said. I thought there would be a good truce. Then he did and said some things that really pissed off the woman who organized the truce. She still talks to him professionally but she doesn't stick up for him anymore. So I leave it to her to decide what to send him on the PR front. People still do read him, and we need him.

A: As I am sure you are aware, there has been a lot of talk about Jenna leaving the business and still being in the business and so forth lately. I know the two of you are good friends... and idea what is REALLY the deal with her?

J: This week? Depends on when the interview is running! As far as I know, she's still on but again, even though we're close, we only talk basically about the business. We have so many other interesting things to talk about. What is REALLY the deal with her? She's a really great girl and a true friend. In her position, I really appreciate what she goes through. People think they know you because they watch you fuck and make decisions about you based on rumors, but they don't know you at all....

A: What is the perfect meal, in your opinion?

Can you believe this guy is getting PAID to do this??

J: Red wine, portobello mushroom sandwich, ice cream sundae. But sometimes I skip the food and get right to the sundae. Why deny yourself pleasure for an hour?

A: How does your family feel about your chosen profession?

J: Mom runs my fan club and other parts of my busy life. My brother helped install the cams in my house. What's to be ashamed of? If I were a third rate porn star, maybe, but I've worked hard, made it to the top, and they're as proud of me as if I had become a doctor. Ok, maybe not that proud.

A: Are you a very religious individual?

J: Somewhat. I respect God. I fear him. He will most certainly be with me all the time.

A: Can you go out in public, say to the movies or to the mall, without being recognized? Ever come across a fan in public that got carried away and wouldn't leave you alone?

J: If I go out looking like Jill Kelly, yes, people recognize me all the time. When I go out looking like Country Girl or I'm incognito on an airplane, people stare at me for the longest time. Wearing clothes usually throws them. I'm sure if I were to walk around naked all the time people would say, hey, there's that Porno Chick, Jill Kelly!

My fans are great. They respect me! There are those who are a little zealous but I'm a pretty tough woman, they get the clue if they've stepped over the line. Plus now my boyfriend will beat the crap out of them if they get out of hand.

A: You did a scene with Marc Wallace in Nude World Order. Were you worried about having contracted the AIDS virus after his infection became public knowledge?

J: Oooh. That's a touchy subject. Who knew? Scared the crap out of all of us. This was big drama. I'm all for condom porn. Fuck how it looks on camera. You don't want to be watching a bunch of dead people screwing. When I was non-condom, I was very VERY selective. Obviously not selective enough. I'm winding down though, the only person from here on out that I'll screw without a condom is my Julian. And he's the hottest man with the biggest dick and our scenes ROCK, so why take chances?

A: A question from one of our female readers: what is the secret to shaving your private areas so closely and neatly and not getting any razor burn at all?

J: For that baby smooth shave, I take men's Gillette disposable razors, and VERY carefully, shave with the grain (the direction the hair is growing). If there are some stubborn ones, I'll shave against the hair but that's tricky. When I'm done, I put baby powder on to avoid razor burn and I don't shave everyday unless it's absolutely necessary.

A: What is your favorite movie you have done to date?

J: Well, I've had fun doing so many but one I really loved was my first baby, Soaking Wet, my first Perfect Pink. First of all, it was Deven AND Bonita's first movie, and I got to fuck them both, plus I did an anal which was great fun and last but not least, I was the director and called the shots from pre-production through editing. What a feeling.

A: Any favorite actors or actresses to work with?

J: Julian. He's my favoritist. Deven, TT Boy, Daisy Chain. I've been putting Daisy in most of my movies because she's fun, easy to work with, mature, adorable and I feel so comfortable around her.

A: The new Skin, Succubus, is generating quite a buzz in the industry. What can viewers expect? How does it differ from other porn films currently on the market?

J: It's odd. And beautiful! I wasn't so sure how my intermittent dialog scenes, where I'm telling my life story, would turn out but it's crucial to the story and it just came off beautifully. Very passionate. The movie was such hard work to make, we shot for days. I also had to put a gun to my head and try to kill myself but I don't die because I'm the Undead. That was pretty unnerving. I'll have to say though, the final product was really impressive. Tons of fucking, some thought provoking ideas and a great, tragic love story between Julie Meadows and me.

A: Any plans for "life after porn?"

J: Settle down with Julian, own a big horse farm, and have many children!

A: Do you have a date set for retirement?

J: Not yet. I'm still having fun. It's cool being the boss for a change!
