If you like espionage, suspense, drama, don't watch this flick. Intrigue is a story of from what I gathered, a couple high powered chicks are trying to steal these computer disks from another high powered business, and all along Herschel Savage is jerking off to some video of chicks he knows.
Sounds interesting, not really. I watched this a few times and I am pretty sure I fast forwarded through the dialog every time. What the fuck is going on with the porn industry. Who creates these absolutely lame-ass non-sexual, boring, pointless story lines. Why bother? Save your time and money and just tape some people fucking. The plot to this film was an absolute bomb. Who fucking cares about computer disks, how do computer disks create or enhance a sexual fantasy?
Bonin' In The Boneyard
Please do us all a favor, if I am taking the time to review your work, do me a favor back, sit down and think a little more about what you are writing. Shop it around to your associates and get their opinions. Instead of laying there in your alcohol stupor writing your story line on a dirty McDonald's napkin.
On a much better note, The sex was good and the actors were pretty hot. The sex scenes ONLY were good. I was able to jerk-off to this movie, because the sex was good, but I would not recommend this movie to a friend. Sin City seems intent on creating these "story" oriented movies. That's not bad, but they don't seem to have any idea how to build a porn movie. How to build the eroticism, how to build one sex scene upon the next, and how to interweave the sex with the plot and the dialogue. They don't know how to make a porno. (with the exception of Kris Kramski's Models, and a few very rare exceptions).
Check Intrigue out for it's sex, but don't expect anything from the plot. In the end it only made me aggravated at the whole porn industry. You might find yourself getting a little pissed off too. - Day Dawk and Piston Rod
